Twitch
Twitch is not available under 13, or under 16 in Australia. From that age until the age of majority, the terms allow use only with a parent or guardian supervising. Parental controls for teen accounts were introduced in 2026. They are optional, and the link drops off at 18.

A parent account can stop the teen from going live, turn off Whispers, set a daily time limit that covers their devices, filter recommendations with Content Classification Labels, and get a weekly email. The controls are optional. The link ends automatically at 18.
- Create or sign in to your own Twitch account.
- Account Settings, Family Center, and link the teen account (ages 13–17).
- Turn off going live and Whispers if you do not want those.
- Set a daily time limit, and review the content labels used for recommendations.
